On Friday, May 2nd, Eric Podwall and Dom Pérignon hosted ‘The Evening Before,’ to kick off the White House Correspondents’ Dinner weekend. The intimate party was held at Fiola Mare, overlooking the Georgetown waterfront and recently described by The Hollywood Reporter as “the hottest new restaurant in town.”

The private guest list included actors, NFL stars, elected officials, top media executives, and more. Guests enjoyed Dom Perignon Vintage 2004 while dining on a chef’s tasting menu, specially curated for the evening. A surprise performance by composer and jazz pianist Brad Ellis, well known for playing the piano accompanist on Glee had the crowd singing until late in the evening.

Attendees included Matthew Morrison, Tony Romo, Candice Crawford Romo, Sir Patrick Stewart, Sunny Ozell, Hunter Biden, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Justin Mikita, Luke Russert, Jeremy Irvine, JC Chasez, Will Poulter, Jose Andres, Richard Wolffe, Bradley Jakeman, Christian Angermeyer, Ambassador Mohammed Jaham Al Kuwari, Mayor Philip Levine, Jason Binn, Aureta Thomollari, and Hilary Rosen.
