Fig & Olive extended an olive branch to Washington, D.C. with the arrival of its flagship D.C. outpost at CityCenterDC, the ultra-luxe, downtown retail destination in 2015. With a robust communications plan including an engaging pre-opening teaser campaign, exclusive VIP olive oil tasting and dinner, media tours and two nights of luxe grand opening parties, TAA PR set the tone for success for the company’s first ever 10,000-square-foot, 330-seat dining destination in the nations capital.
FIG & OLIVE Washington, D.C. embodies a passion for the best olive oils, flavors, and cuisine from the Riviera and Coastal regions of the South of France, Italy, and Spain. Crafted by Executive Chef Pascal Lorange, the menu highlights the region’s unique olive oils and is paired with each individual dish and used in place of butter.
For FIG & OLIVE’s June 2015 opening, Washingtonians – with TAA PR’s strategic counsel and execution – were transported to the French Riviera and coastal regions of Italy with a luxurious, two-night grand opening in the heart of DC’s newest hot spot, CityCenterDC. More than 650 guests walked the red carpet each night, anxiously awaiting the brand’s first Washington outpost. No glamorous detail was spared from the models sporting the latest French and Italian designer duds to the signature, hand-crafted cocktails and perfectly plated bites, guests sipped and nibbled all night long to the tunes of local mixmasters.
