ExploreMichelin-starred cuisine with the glamor of Italy
With a culinary pedigree to match his ambition, Nicholas Stefanelli built Masseria to embody the soul of Puglia, the industrial grit of its Union Market neighborhood, and the irrepressible style of its fashion-savvy chef-owner.
In 2016, the fine-dining Masseria earned a star in Washington, DC’s, first-ever Michelin Guide, an honor it has received every year since.
Stefanelli soon expanded, opening Officina, a dazzling multi-level tribute to Italy with handmade pastas and an amari library at the Wharf and soon opened a downtown location.
A new evolution in his career starts at the end of 2022 with Stefanelli extending his sense of hospitality to the hotel world. At The Morrow Hotel—also a client of TAA PR— Stefanelli will helm all of the food and beverage at the NoMa’s burgeoning Third Street District, NE hotel with ground-floor flagship restaurant, Le Clou, to the the sexy lounge, Vesper to the rooftop, Upstairs at the Morrow. // Masseria; Officina; The Morrow
