GUCCI CHANGEMAKERS

Since 2019, more than $6.5 million dollars has been invested in community funding of scholarship programs. In 2023 Gucci officially opened applications for the fifth chapter of the Gucci Changemakers North America initiative, including the Scholarship Program and Impact Fund, supporting talented students and nonprofit organizations. The fifth chapter of Gucci Changemakers was titled “Igniting Creative Opportunity,” the awardees were individuals and organizations who inspire positive social change and break down barriers in arts and culture. Furthering its commitment to empower meaningful change, Gucci Changemakers North America was proud to expand its programming with a new Creative Fellows Initiative to uplift leaders who use creativity to spark social action and community impact.

TAA|PR was selected as the agency to execute the fifth chapter launch of Gucci Changemakers, Selecting the venue, sourcing vendors, curating the guest list, presenting speakers and hosting.  The event included a conversation on creative leaders igniting social change moderated by activist and educator, Brittany Packnett Cunningham with Changemaker recipient and founder of Black Girl Environmentalist, Wawa Gatheru, Imani Ellis, Culturecon, Hannah Traore and Gucci Changemaker Scholar and Artist, Yetunde Sapp for the Changemakers community.
